A Truly Unique Elmwood Village Home

Some of you may already know Prish Moran as she is somewhat of a Buffalo icon. The owner and operator of Sweetness 7 Cafe and The Tabernacle on Grant and Lafayette, Prish is a woman with a very distinct style who can turn a room into a piece of art. If you haven’t already, take some time to check out this Buffalo Rising post featuring The Tabernacle and you will see her artistic vision for yourself.

Her passion for art doesn’t stop at her places of business though. Her beautiful victorian home in the Elmwood Village has been transformed into a piece of art as well. The fully restored and in-tact victorian features hardwood floors, oak paneling, a double staircase, a fully functional wood burning fireplace, 2 pantries, and an original wooden Jewett refrigerator. Then, in addition to all the original beauty, Prish has truly made this house into a home by accenting everything with her touch of artistry.

A custom designed ceiling

The ceiling in the dining room as been transformed into a work of art in itself. Cut frames are meticulously put together, creating a beautiful mosaic that’s very impressive.

Elmwood Village Victorian

The kitchen is vibrant but welcoming. Complete with all the necessary modern cooking needs, yet boldly historic and appropriate for an Elmwood Village victorian. The fireplaces and dark wood throughout the rest of the house give off a cozy and relaxing vibe. A quick 2 minute walk from the front door and you’ll find yourself on Bidwell Parkway or Elmwood Avenue.

This beautiful home is a reflection of the owners character and way of life. It’s been made modern while respecting its classic victorian origin and bones. Prish has worked as a decorative artist and entrepreneur in Buffalo for the past 25 years and it has all come to life here. She’s chosen to start the next chapter of her life (meaning she has purchased an incredible historic lodge in the Adirondacks which will soon be filled with just as much artistry and charm) and has decided to put the home up for sale.
