Introducing Buffalo Homes

Buffalo Homes was created in 2015 by local Real Estate and Architectural Photographer, Matthew Digati.

The original purpose of Buffalo Homes was to feature the beautiful homes and neighborhoods of Buffalo, NY on an Instagram account. Since then, the account has accumulated over 15k followers and has been named One of Buffalo Best Instagram Accounts by Step Out Buffalo.

This site was created to take a closer look at some of Buffalo’s most famous and historic homes and neighborhoods. The Buffalo Homes Instagram page will stay the same as it always has been. We’ll still keep posting photos of incredible homes. We’ll keep finding the most extravagant and colorful gardens. And we’ll continue to shine a light on all of Buffalo’s unique streets and neighborhoods.

But… we wanted to take this a step further. We want to focus on what it is that makes Buffalo such a hot bed for gorgeous homes and neighborhoods. What it is about our history that makes Buffalo and the surrounding area an architectural Mecca of sorts. What impact famous architects like Frank Lloyd Wright and urban planners like Fredrick Law Olmsted had on our City and region.
