Bryant Street Colonial Revival

Bryant Street Colonial Revival

Built in 1895, this Delaware District, Bryant Street Colonial Revival has been tastefully updated to highlight its historic feel. Recessed lighting and hand scraped hardwood flooring have been beautifully incorporated into the design. The home's original layout remains intact and highlights features like high ceilings, tall windows, and leaded and stained glass.

You really get an historic vibe walking through this home. There are many structural features that are only common is these older homes. Everything from the floor to the windows and the floor plan to the central staircase helps you picture what the neighborhood and area was like when this home was built.

A major feature in this home is a step-down sunroom with a hand-fired Arts & Crafts tile floor. The floor is absolutely beautiful and really helps set the mood in the heart of the home. It lays in-between and connects the living room, sitting room, and dining room.

An updated and modern eat-in kitchen features honey maple cabinets and granite counters. The cabinets are both beautiful and functional. There is easy access to the backyard and some nice urban views directly off the kitchen.

The second floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a laundry room, an open sitting room, and a small kitchen which was previously part of an in-law set up. It set up very nicely to function as either a totally separate living space or an addition to the rest of the home. The backyard is quite large and features a 2.5 car garage, a slate patio, and a large, paved parking area.
