Musical Suites on Elmwood Avenue
Elmwood Avenue is home to some of Buffalo’s latest apartments. Musical Suites, located at 415 Elmwood Avenue near the corner of Bryant Street, is just one of several new apartment buildings in this section of the Elmwood Village. Purchased in 2020 by Schneider Development and just recently completed, the 25,000 square foot mixed use building has 22 apartments and 1,500 square feet of professional office space. The total cost of the project came it at around $5.5 million.
Musical Suites is located in a beautiful Colonial Revival building that was constructed in 1910. It used to be the home of Community Music School, hence the Musical Suites name, which has since relocated to Delavan Avenue. An additional 3 story building was built on the south side of the original building over what used to be a parking lot. The new building accommodates 10 apartments and is connected to the old building via a glass walkway.
This rise in apartment density seems to be a common theme in the area. With the impending opening of Elmwood Crossing, this part of the Elmwood Village is growing by leaps and bounds.
All the apartments come with hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer and dryers, as well as several community amenities like bike storage, elevators, parking, and a pet friendly green area.
