Buffalo’s Decorators Show House 2021

Every other year the Junior League of Buffalo finds a volunteer home to host Buffalo’s Decorators Show House. This year, that home is Delaware Avenue’s Grace Millard Knox House, one of the most beautiful structures along Delaware’s Millionaires Row. Per the Junior League’s website: “The 28,000 square foot French Renaissance style home was built by NYC Architect Charles Pierrepont H. Gilbert between 1915-1918 for the widow of Seymour Knox. It is located on the historic “Millionaire Row” at 800 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY. Mrs. Knox raised her three children here and the Knox family remained at the residence until it was sold in 1969 to the Montefiore Club, a private men’s club. It is the current location of the Computer Task Group building and was recently sold to Ross Cellino for the new corporate headquarters of his law firm, Cellino Law.”

If you’re not aware of the Decorators Show House or haven’t been to one in the past, it’s absolutely worth checking out. Designers and artists come together and put their talents on display throughout the entire house. Each designer gets a space to transform into their own vision and style. The outcome of this is an incredible experience for visitors, walking though an interactive gallery of sorts. Each room you walk into has it’s own theme and presence. Once you’ve gotten your fill of the design, you simply walk into the next room to be wowed all over again. A full list of the designers and artists can be found here.
